All Durham Book Club programming is funded by grants and donations that allow us to provide books, materials, and educational workshops to the middle school students of Durham, NC.
Here are a few of the ways these dollars are making a difference:
$5 buys one book for one student in DBCreads this year
$20 buys a set of DBCreads books for one student this year
$100 pays for one year subscription to PodBean for DBCtalks, our podcast for middle school students
$500 buys prizes for DBCreads students who win book-related games
$1,000 pays for a writing workshop series for our DBCwrites program
$2,000 buys t-shirts for all DBCreads students
$10,000 buys ALL DBCreads books for one year
